The History of Arthur L

When I first began writing in 2006, I had pretty clear concepts and ideas but I believed readers might not be ready for it yet. So I discarded this first attempt and never sent query anywhere. It was not until 2 weeks before the due date for Literotica.com 2009 Christmas Competition that I suddenly decided to give another try.

My first submission was a bit late but many people voted for my last-minute rush of Magical Christmas. That time I thought the story was long enough to make a whole book, and hot enough to capture so many readers at such short period of time. If only I were a week early, readers would be given enough chance to vote for my story, I could've won the contest!

Still wallowing in self pity, I felt somewhat discouraged from writing again. But then I suddenly woke up and wrote and wrote and wrote nonstop, day and night, I completed a whole book within a week again. I tried submitting it to Literotica without even hoping anyone would notice. But fan mails came pouring in, comments from strangers appeared, all requested to read more of the story.

I continued perfecting this one book, which is part of an Epic Romance Trilogy. It was only then that I realised this is the only thing I am good at; writing books. Writing stories. I may not be good at selling insurance or writing ads, but I write well, and readers love my work.

The Trilogy I am working on gaining attention from Literary Agency now was a true secret tale of an endless wealth of treasure recounted by the last MacEirc descendant on his death bed, Angus. That story I had to adapt to fictional because that's where the market lays. Who would believe that such treasure truly exists anyway?

So readers and visitors to my blog, here I finally reveal my true story. I apologise I have been quiet about myself and not gone public enough despite your encouraging mails, you know me, I am good only at writing books and responding to your mails, but when it comes to advertising myself out there to the world, I use pseudonyms and keep silent about my personal life. Writing books is the only thing I can do and do best.
